How do I adopt a Glamourex kitten?
Because we are a smaller cattery, we do not have kittens
available year-round. We do not generally accept deposits.
Instead, we ask those wanting a Glamourex kitten to stay in
contact with us. Once a specific kitten is available, we will be
happy to take a small deposit to reserve the kitten for you. We
look for the best possible homes for our kittens (not always the
first person to inquire).

How do Devons do with other pets or children?
Generally, Devons are very social in nature and do quite well
with a variety of different animals and people. We're happy to
give you suggestions to a successful introduction. There are
never any guarantees but generally Devons tend to get along
with everyone. This does not mean that your existing pet will be
happy, however. It is good to think about these issues before
bringing a new pet into the home.

Does Glamourex require a contract and may I see a copy
of it?
Yes, Glamourex does require a written contract for all
cats/kittens that leave our home. We welcome you to view it
ahead of time. It is designed primarily to protect the interests of
the kitty. We require that you keep your kitty indoors, refrain
from declawing (ask me why) and that you surrender your kitty
back to us
(no questions asked) should you not be able to
keep him/her.

At what age do you send your kittens out?
Our kittens are generally ready to go to their homes by the time
they are 16 weeks of age. By this time, they have had an ideal
amount of socialization, appropriate vaccines, been
microchipped, been spayed or neutered and given a health
examination by our vet. We understand that some people
would like to take them earlier, however, we want what is best
for the kitten.

What will I need to do before bringing my kitty home?
Before picking up your kitty, we will give you advice on what food/litter/supplies to have on hand. Your
kitty will leave us fully vaccinated, altered, vet checked and microchipped. We do encourage you to
take your kitty for a check up to confirm out vets check.
